The headsup opponent and eventual runner-up was Mani Singh ‘king.of.Queens’ from New Delhi who took home INR9,06,300. Also came second in the LMS contest giving him INR 10,000 Bonus Money. Singh is known for winning the biggest ever 10k event at the December 2015 edition of the India Poker Championship. That record of 481 entrantscontinues to remain unbeaten. A 28-year-old Dr. Vishal Rathod ‘vishaljr01’ from Pune was the second runner-up in the tournament taking home INR 6,04,200 for his efforts.
The nine hour long tournament saw a large entries taking the final total to 1272 which 777 unique entries and 495 re-entries. This generated a prizepool of INR 63,60,000 which was distributed to top 90 players with minimum cash paid of INR 12,720.
