Life OK is all set to launch a new show based on the life and the journey of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. The show has already roped in a talented bunch of actors such as Shaleen Bhanot, Sneha Wagh and Sonia Singh and there were also rumours of Sharad Kelkar playing a cameo however he have a confirmation now from the actor himself revealing more about his role.
In the show, Sharad will be seen playing the role of Banda Singh Bahadur, who is a Sikh warrior. The show is based in 1800’s and talks about the time when Mughals invaded as they were against Sikhs and Hindu and Banda Singh Bahadur was the one, who stood up against them for his community.
When asked about being a part of the historic show, Sharad said “This is the first time that someone is making a show on the Sikh community which is what caught my interest. Hence I agreed to be a part of the project even if it’s for a cameo as this is going to be a visionary projectâ€.
