Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences partners with Schoolguru Eduserve and shifts to online learning

Schoolguru Eduserve, one of India’s leading ed-tech companies has extended their technology platform, Lurningo, to Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences (DMIMS). The association will enable DMIMS to continue with their scheduled courses for students across departments of Medical, Dental, Ayurveda, Nursing and Physiotherapy. Using the mobile first learning platform, Lurningo, the University is distributing courseware, conducting regular live lecturers, organizing mock sessions, conducting live quizzes and other periodic assessments.

Commenting on the association, Mr Shantanu Rooj, Founder & CEO, Schoolguru Eduserve said, “The current situation has become very challenging, especially for educational institutes. Technology enabled & location agnostic learning systems have become very crucial to ensure that studies are not compromised. We are happy to extend our technological expertise to Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences and assist them in their endeavour to help their students.”

Elaborating on the partnership, Mr Sagar Meghe, Member – Board of Management, DMIMS said, “As a University, we have always been conscious about timely quality measures under all circumstances to ensure uncompromised academic activities. This being one such incidence; I am glad that Schoolguru has come forward and provided us with the necessary platform that will enable us to conduct online training, share resources and conduct assessments”.

Lurningo is a mobile learning platform designed to facilitate on the go learning for students. Powered by advanced technology, augment realty and gamified learning, the platform facilitates a holistic learning experience for students.

Currently Lurningo is being used by 30 large Indian Universities. Few days ago, we had also opened free access to the platform for institutes, for three months, who would want to use the platform to maintain classroom continuity. The platform is assisting Universities and colleges to manage their classes, distribute courseware, conduct virtual and live sessions for the students, and conduct periodic assessments without the need to physically go to the colleges”, added Mr Rooj.

Dr Ved Prakash Mishra, Pro-Chancellor of DMIMS being pleased with the LMS platform provided by Schoolguru, stated that its utility platform can be broadened for remedial teaching of DMIMS students appearing for Re-sit Examinations. He also appreciated the thoughtful features provided by the LMS that can facilitate self-directed learning, critical thinking and reflective learning skills.
