~ Expands its restaurant presence across 9 states in the South & West region
Westlife Development Limited (BSE: 505533) owner of the Master Franchisee of McDonald’s restaurants in west and south India through its subsidiary Hardcastle Restaurants Private Limited (HRPL), announced the launch of first restaurant in the state of Andhra Pradesh. McDonald’s expands its footprint in south India across all the five states with the opening of its restaurant on June 14, 2016 at the MGB Felicity Mall, Dargamitta, G.N.T. Road, Nellore.
The newly opened restaurant has been designed to serve over 110 customers spread across 2620 square feet. It includes an outdoor seating of 140 square feet in the mall atrium and a separate area for birthday party celebrations to accommodate a private party for up to 30 people. The mall offers ample parking space for private vehicles. McDonald’s Family restaurant will be open for service daily between 10am and 10pm. The restaurant interior reflects best-in-class design with full range of amenities and services unique to McDonald’s® restaurants around the world.
Residents of Nellore can now relish the iconic burger ‘Big Mac’ known as Chicken Maharaja Mac and Veg Maharaja Mac, the world’s first Big Mac in a vegetarian variant. McDonald’s flavorful menu offers a variety of spicy delights, desserts, hot /cold beverages and burgers in vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Consumers can now choose from extensive non-vegetarian menu including Chicken Maharaja Mac, McSpicy Chicken, Chicken McGrill, Fillet-O-Fish, McEgg, Chicken & Egg Saucy wraps and Chicken McNuggets and a variety of vegetarian offerings such as Veg Maharaja Mac, McVeggie Burger, McSpicy Paneer, Big Spicy Paneer Wrap, Pizza McPuff, McAloo Saucy Wrap apart from an extensive range of hot and cold beverage options are available to compliment the meals.

The restaurants in Nellore will have a team of 30-35 employees who are locally hired and trained to manage operations in the initial phase. Further, McDonald’s® also aims to generate employment and provide international training to local residents, creating opportunities for first time job seekers while also adding to the strength of 7,500 individuals that they have directly employ across business operations in West & South India.
Nellore is one of the most promising cities and is fast becoming an important regional commercial and industrial destination.
