Saregama Honours every Mother on Mother’s Day

8th May, the day when the world celebrates and gives an ode to the Mother and marks the influence of mothers in society, Saregama music label from the RP-Sanjiv GoenkaGroup honors the birth giver by releasing a soul-stirring  reinterpretation of  the popular song “Yeh Nayan Dare Dare” by none other than the versatile singer Kavita Seth.  The original track  has been penned  by Kaifi Azmi, composed  and sung by the legendary artiste Hemant Kumar.

“Unconditional Love” is  a word synonymous with Mother, but the fact is a mother  embodies  a gamut of emotions for her children.   Saregama’s video of “Yeh Nayan Dare Dare” brings out one such very strong emotion of a Mother for  her child i.e. “FEAR”. Some fears we hide, some we live with and some we  share with the world. Our fears while on one hand rule our mind and shape our lives, when challenged or overcome give us a moment of truth about our potential.

The courageous of all is the Mother who when brings a child fears the most about her child’s safety, child’s eating habits, child’s health etc all her life. Yet she is the one who comes out strong all the time. Her fears are what makes her beautiful, compassionate and all encompassing. Saregama dedicates this song to all Mothers who overcame their deepest fears and came out strong. This Mother’s Day Saregama celebrates Hope which comes from a fear being defeated.

Kavita Seth brings her unique magic to this classic number, complemented by a moving video that is an ode to the spirit of motherhood. Directed by Srimanta Sengupta, the video stars Samiksha Bhatnagar.

Commenting on the video Kavita Seth says “ This song took me on an emotional journey and it left me thinking that our Mothers are always there standing like a rock behind us when we face our fears but we seldom realize how our mothers face it all, all alone. I dedicate this video to my Mom and I am grateful to her for being my strength. It was wonderful reinterpreting this song for Saregama music label”.
