Signature Global, a renowned name in affordable housing, have come forward with an aim to contribute towards the fight against coronavirus. The company donated Rs 21 lakh to Chief Minister Corona Fund Haryana, Rs 6 lakh to Apna Ghar Ashram and INR 1.5 lakh to an NGO. Besides, the company is providing essential things like ration, vegetables, fruits and masks to the labours and marginalised people.
The regular supply of these things have been initiated to help them so that they may not think about migrating back to their hometowns. The body temperature of all the workers are constantly being monitored, and they are being encouraged to keep their surroundings clean. Apart from this one of the contractor of Signature Global, AAR CEE contracts also distributed ration at Solera Sector 107 labour camp including 5kg rice, 2kg pulse and Rs. 200 cash to each labour.
Mr. Pradeep Aggarwal, Founder And Chairman, Signature Global and also the Chairman of National Council of Affordable Housing said, “Our team is ensuring that the phase of lockdown must not bring any undue trouble or distress to the poor people and they are being provided with regular food. It is our duty to support the government, NGOs and other societies to fight against this deadly virus. We are hopeful that the things will get normal soon. We are also taking care of the labour associated with us in various projects and in that effect we disbursed Rs 7 lakh to the labourers staying in our projects, which was in addition to providing them with essential items.”
