A collection of hand-woven sarees and lehengas handpicked from across the country will be available at the Taneira exhibition cum sale
Taneira, the youngest brand from Titan is hosting a three-day exhibition and sale of handcrafted sarees and lehengas from 21st February and 22nd February 2020 at Tanishq Showroom, 4th Lane, 10th Cross Rd, Brodipet, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. Visitors at the show will be able to witness Taneira’s exquisite collection of nearly 1500 sarees and an exclusive range of lehengas, both handmade in Chanderi, Maheshwari, Bengal, Bhagalpur, Banaras, Kanjeevaram, South, and other weaving regions of India.
Speaking about the Guntur exhibition, Ms. Rajeshwari Srinivasan, Chief Operating Officer, Taneira said, “The beautiful city of Guntur is a unique blend of nature, culture and ancient temple architecture which resonates with our brand ethos. With this pop up store in the city, we are delighted to present our range of handcrafted lehengas to the city along with over 1500 variety of sarees for the first time. We are confident that this exclusive festive & bridal collection will receive a warm welcome by the graceful women here.”
The showcase in Guntur will have a wide range of products; Taneira’s newest additions including ‘Chokola’ an in-house designed collection of Tussar silk sarees in rich colour palette inspired by the delectable world of chocolate. The exhibition will also feature an in-house designed collection of pure & handwoven soft silk sarees – ‘Courtyard Tales’ inspired by the colours and textures of the many flavours of childhood. The bridal and wedding collections with exquisite silks from Banaras and Kanchipuram will also be showcased along with Taneira’s special collection of festive sarees and lehengas – ‘Navya:’ inspired from Indian royal heritage. Dress materials, ready-to-wear blouses, stoles and dupattas will also be on display.
Since inception, Taneira has successfully launched five stores across Bangalore in Indiranagar, Jayanagar, Commercial Street, Orion Mall and the newly opened store in Pheonix Market City. The brand operates three stores in Delhi including the newly opened store in Dwarka, Delhi; one store in Hyderabad and recently opened stores in Aundh, Pune & Ghatkopar, Mumbai and Inorbit Mall, Vashi, Mumbai.
