The Academy and Life Care Division of TUV Rheinland India embarks on a new venture to provide executive-level MBA programmes for the global markets
TUV Rheinland India, a subsidiary of TÃœV Rheinland Group, Germany, a worldwide leader in Testing, Training, Inspection, Consulting & Certification, announced that it has signed an MoU with UK based Teesside University. As per the MoU signed at Bangalore by Mr Markus Dohm, Executive Vice President of TÃœV Rheinland Akademie GmbH (TÃœV Rheinland Global Academy), Mr Thomas Fuhrmann, Managing Director of TUV Rheinland India and Prof. Paul Croney, Vice-Chancellor of Teesside University, the Academy and Life Care Division of TUV Rheinland India would initiate a new venture with a global scope, to provide executive-level MBA programmes validated by Teesside University, UK.
These executive-level MBA programmes will primarily target the working executives of TUV Rheinland’s client organisations and its own employees who are aspiring for managerial and senior managerial positions.
The Academy and Life Care Division of TUV Rheinland India is currently focussed on providing personnel training, professional certification, vocational training as well as skill development in India.
“The philosophy behind this new initiative is to offer differentiated and value-added management and leadership development courses.TUV Rheinland has been a pioneer in offering tailor-made, customer centric courses and now with this prestigious tie-up, the company will offer long-term learning programmes to participants. This approach will not only help them develop their core competencies but also encourage an achievement of learning outcomes among them†said Mr Thomas Fuhrmann, Managing Director of TUV Rheinland India. “We will be developing three MBA Courses: MBA International Business Management; MBA Energy Management; and MBA Sustainable Business Management. All three programmes will be offered to the participants as international executive programmes, offered under the modular-mode. The face-to-face teaching sessions will be conducted in Cologne(Germany) and Dubai, as these are two of the most strategic locations in Asia and Europe; this allows participants to be drawn from across Europe, Middle East and South Asiaâ€.
The cooperation partner is UK based Teesside University, a leading university with an international reputation for academic excellence that provides an outstanding student and learning experience underpinned by research, enterprise and the professions.

“While the teaching sessions will be held at Cologne and Dubai, TUV Rheinland India will use our Bangalore Headquarters as the administrative base for managing the MBA programmes. We will use our expertise and resources in Bangalore to provide registration, counselling, and additional online learning support to the learners. However, our organisation will draw teaching faculty and resources from across the TUV Rheinland Group, majorly from Germany and UK.’ added Mr Thomas Fuhrmann.
