COLORS Gujarati Launches DharmThi Gujarati

The Show Premieres On May 2, 2016 And Will Air Every Monday To Saturday at 7pm.

The vibrant state of Gujarat is home to a rich cultural heritage – be it art, literature, food or its religious monuments and beliefs. Bringing to life this spiritual faith of the DilThi Gujarati viewer is the captivating travelogue based religious show – DharmThi Gujarati, premiering on May 2, 2016 and airing every Monday to Saturday at 7PM.

Elaborating on the same, Sanjay Upadhyay – Programming Head – COLORS Gujarati said, “Spirituality is ingrained in the daily lives of the Gujarati viewer; right from beginning their day with the name of a holy God to even greeting each other by praising the Almighty. DharmThi Gujarati explores famous temples and the stories related to it across the state of Gujarat enabling us to understand rituals, decode myths and find the science behind the rites while emphasizing on its importance in our lives.”

Producer Archana Shah from The Final Cut Production further added saying, “DharmThi Gujarati is a unique format that aims to tell viewers of the stories of various deities that will be interestingly highlighted through sketches and other forms of storytelling in the episodes. We hope that this show brings viewers closer to their roots and inspires them to go visit the beautiful heritage that the state of Gujarat offers.”

DharmThi Gujarati attempts to explore temples, popular religious places, their surroundings, and interesting known and unknown facts related to them in a unique format. From capturing known stories which have been a part of the folk lore of deities to the famous Aartis and the importance of various types of Prasads for different temples, this show will take you on a journey that promises to enlighten the mind and heart of the viewers.
