On the occasion of International Nurses Day, Fortis Hospital Cunningham Road, in association with Rotary Bangalore-TTK blood bank, conducted a blood donation camp with an aim to tackle the shortage of blood units.
The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in a decline of blood donation at the blood banks due to lockdown. In order to meet the requirements of the TTK blood bank, the employees from Fortis Hospital, Cunningham Road consisting of doctors, nurses, medical and non-medical staff voluntarily donated 54 units of blood.
