Oberoi Mall, a landmark shopping destination in Mumbai celebrated their 10th anniversary with the 36 kids of The Akanksha Foundation. The aim was to celebrate Oberoi Mall’s 10th anniversary with the kids by spending a fun-filled day and creating memories with them.
A fun-filled itinerary was planned for these little gems to spend their whole day at the Mall. The first activity lined up was watching the animated movie “Peter Rabbit” accompanied by their teacher at PVR Playhouse, this was followed by a scrumptious snack at Burger King and to celebrate the anniversary cake-cutting ceremony took place with these little champs at Burger King. After the ceremony, it was playtime for the kids at Namco. Oberoi Mall distributed gifts among the children, later; they were given McDonald’s happy meal at the end of the day.
The Akanksha Foundation is a non-profit organization with a mission to impact the lives of children from low-income communities, enabling them to maximize their potential and change their lives.
Speaking on the 10th anniversary occasion, Mr. Anupam T, Vice President, Oberoi Mall, said, “This initiative was organized to provide a joyous day to the kids and surprise them with unique experiences at the mall.. We at Oberoi Mall are endeavored to bring about a positive change in the society and this is a small contribution.”
