Food connoisseurs in and around Vijayawada now has the world-renowned restaurant chain Paradise, World’s favourite Biryani, opening up its restaurant at Benz Circle. Paradise, a six-decade-old legacy restaurant brand that has today gained worldwide acceptance from celebrities and the common man alike. People in Vijayawada now will have easy access to savour the original Paradise Biryani apart from delectable kebabs, curries and desserts, in their own neighborhood.
This will be Paradise’s 24th outlet nationally and the 1st in Vijayawada. The Restaurant is spread over two floors. While the full service Dine-in is situated on the 1st Floor, a quick service Express format and a full-fledged Takeaway is located on the Ground Floor. It has 168 covers in total. The Restaurant is beautifully designed with tasteful interiors and a state-of-the-art kitchen.

The history around Paradise has a very humble beginning. It was started in September 1953 at Secunderabad in Andhra Pradesh (now Telangana) as a small 100 seater restaurant cum provisional store, mainly to serve cinema goers of the Paradise Theater. The Café continued its services even when the theatre shut down. Between 1978 and 1996, under the leadership of Mr. A Hemati, the restaurant underwent an exhaustive re-structuring, renovation, and modernization programme that was aimed at adapting to the changing social trends and evolving food habits of the people.
In fact, the world’s favorite people to enjoy the world’s favorite Biryani. Paradise boasts of clientele that includes celebrities from every walk of life including politicians, cricketers, and heads of States, film stars and many more. An array of dignitaries including Sachin Tendulkar, Aamir Khan, Sania Mirza, Rajamouli besides Rahul Gandhi and Chef Sanjeev Kapoor are amongst the host of celebrities who have enjoyed the famed Hyderabadi cuisine at Paradise.
The Paradise brand became synonymous with Hyderabad and Biryani and it was only in 2004 that the Management decided to expand to other cities and other localities in Hyderabad. Today, the 64-year-old brand has the presence in Gurugram, Chennai, Visakhapatnam, Bengaluru besides Hyderabad and has a total of 23 outlets nationally. A massive nationwide expansion plan is underway.
Following the tradition of a uniform menu across all Paradise outlets in the country, this outlet will serve dishes spanning from Biryani to Kebabs to Desserts to Irani Chai to name a few.
