SonyLIV partners with Mukta Arts and its digital venture Connect.1

Showcases short films created on its platform by students of Whistling Woods International

Underlining its commitment to enhance the entertainment-viewing experience, SonyLIV, Sony Pictures Networks’ (SPN) premium digital video entertainment platform, has announced a strategic partnership with Subhash Ghai’s – Mukta Arts. Under the association, SonyLIV has tied up with the film division of Whistling Woods International, one of the world’s leading film, communication and media arts schools and its digital venture Connect.1. SonyLIV will now showcase the short films created by the students of Whistling Woods International on its platform, thereby giving these youngsters the opportunity to reach out to audiences, pan-India.

Headquartered in Mumbai, Mukta Arts is an Indian film production company known for its association with several blockbuster movie hits such asTaal, Pardes and Ram Lakhan amongst others. Whistling Woods International has been consistently ranked amongst the top 10 film schools in the world by The Hollywood Reporter. The association between SonyLIV and Mukta Arts will add to SonyLIV’s content library.
