Dr. K M Cherian invited as a speaker at the 20th Annual session of the Scientific Center of Cardiovascular Surgery in Moscow, Russia

Pioneer in Cardiac Surgery – Dr K M Cherian, Founder & Chairman of Frontier Lifeline Hospital (FLL) has been invited as a speaker at the 20th Annual Session of the Scientific Center of Cardiovascular Surgery, organized by the A.N. Bakoulev Scientific Center for Cardiovascular Surgery in Moscow, Russia, from 22nd – 24th May 2016.

Dr. K. M. Cherian, Founder & Chairman, Frontier Lifeline Hospital, is the only Indian to be invited for this prestigious Russian Scientific Conference. Founded in 1956 by Soviet surgeon Aleksandr Bakulev, being officially named the Thoracal Surgery Institute of the Academy of Medical Sciences of the USSR, Bakulev Scientific Center for Cardiovascular Surgery is attached to the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences and is one of the leading cardiovascular surgery-related facilities of the Russian Federation. The center organizes annual session every year to discuss on the current developments in the field of cardiovascular surgery, where leading surgeons across different nations are invited.

This year the center has invited Dr. K. M. Cherian from India. Dr. K M Cherian’s Frontier lifeline Hospital (FLL) and Frontier Mediville – India’s first bio medical science park is known for revolutionizing the stem cell transplantation in heart surgeries in India. Approved by the Government of India, it is known that FLL has been performing more number of stem cell transplantation in the country. In line with this, the organizing committee of the annual session has specifically requested Dr. Cherian to talk on Clinical experience with Cardiac stem cells and laser vascularization of heart.

Speaking on the same, Dr K M Cherian, Founder & Chairman, Frontier Lifeline Hospital said, “India is the only country in Asia where stem cell implantation is practiced. And FLL is known for having largest experience in both Cardiac stem cells and laser vascularization of heart. Europe and Russia are currently undergoing a massive drift in these two areas and hence the center has invited me to present paper on the two topics. I am extremely delighted to be a part of this annual session. The conference itself is one-of-its-kind and looking forward to highlight about our key developments in the field of Stem cells.”
