Fortis Hospital, Cunningham Road has taken up the initiative to train police personnel on the usage of PPE and hygiene practices during the COVID-19 crisis. The on-going training involves educating the front liners on following certain precautionary measures to protect themselves from being exposed to the virus.
The initiative is being conducted for all shift employees of High grounds police station. Additionally, the police personnel are also being encouraged on adopting various hygiene measures, such as washing and sanitizing hands, avoiding touching of the face, and wearing a mask when on duty.
