Pulse Active Stations, a connected network of smart health kiosks that is known for changing the health landscape of India had recently conducted a press conference dedicated to “the importance of personal health and preventive healthcare” in The Ashok, New Delhi. The event was organized to make people conscious and self-informed about their well-being.
The event witnessed distinguished personalities and senior govt. officials including the Young parliamentarian, Sri. Kotagiri Sridhar, Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) who was the Guest of Honour. Further, the programme was inaugurated by some of the distinguished govt. officials who participated in the lamp lighting followed by the panel discussion wherein all the dignitaries had a detailed discussion on the topic by including some of their life examples and brought focus to personal health and care.
Pulse Active Stations Network also unveiled their India Map, that shows the 150 locations in 100 cities of India to be primarily focused in the coming years. Along with it, the elaborative study was released which encapsulates the “Insights into a Nation’s Well-being.” and which is based on the largest sample size for such a study.
The unique “Make in India” startup was launched in 2018 backed by Silicon-valley based Y Combinator, the renowned Mistletoe group founded by the Futurist Visionary, Mr Taizo Son and the leading supplier of high-performance sporting goods and services, ASICS Corporation (ASICS) of Japan.
The stations were launched in public spaces to create health awareness in every part of the county. Since its inception, they have conducted more than 4 lakh checkups and presently, they are in 150 locations across 100 cities. These locations are high footfall places including railway stations such as New Delhi railway station, KSR Bengaluru City railway station, Pune Junction railway station, Metro Rail Stations in New Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bus stations in Lucknow, Hyderabad among others.
During the event, Mr. Joginder Tanikella, the Founder of Pulse Active Stations committed to launch and expand their network to 10,000 locations across India in the coming 3 years. This journey will also be creating 10,000 jobs and 8,000 micro-entrepreneurs, apart from creating health awareness in every nook and corner of the nation.
Furthermore, he added, “Our mission is to provide health awareness to the masses and we aim to become the single point of contact, outside of the hospital network, for all Indians with healthcare services and solutions. Therefore, by creating self-awareness and identifying issues in advance, the national disease burden gets reduced and this leads to an increase in quality of life as well
as national productivity. In the near future, we look forward to seeing ourselves becoming a vital pillar of the public health sector in India..”
