The objective of the event was to provide dental education to everyone and hopeful to be included in Guinness world record and Limca book of records.
Vedant Goel and Yusuf Soni, two young entrepreneurs from Pune organized a large scale event titled My Teeth. The motive of the aforesaid event was to create a forum to spread Dental Awareness and Dental Education among students of age group 9 to 13. For this team, My Teeth worked tirelessly for a month in order to envisage the scope and scale of such a forum. In the due course, the event of My Teeth movement was organized on 21st January, 2017.
This premier event of My Teeth was organized, managed and conducted by Vedant Goel and Yusuf Soni with the equal efforts of their team of eminent managers and volunteers. Sadhana School and Sane Guruji School actively took the initiative to be the host for this event. The format of the event included interactive sessions by distinguished dentists from the city. The aim of these interactions was to solve the doubts and queries of students through two way communication cycle. More than 5011 students participated in the event and were actively engrossed in the interactions.
The event further progressed with all the participants brushing their teeth at once. The students were provided with toothbrushes and toothpastes by the organizers, Vedant Goel and Yusuf Soni. With 5011Â students brushing together, this was a world record attempt, being the first of its kind in India. Guinness world record and Limca book of records will soon confirm the record.
The Organizer Vedant Goel told, “Nowadays, the teeth problem is increasing day by day and teeth is the most important part in our body. That’s why everyone needs to take care of their teeth. The event was a grand success for us. Hence, we organized My Teeth event and all students were really active and happy with the dental education.
