Star Bollywood Designer & Stylist Ashley Rebello is the mentor to INIFD students from past 15 years. He is the Exclusive Stylist of Salman Khan for his blockbusters like ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, Jai Ho, Dabangg 2, Ek Tha Tiger, Bodyguard, Ready, Dabangg & many Bigg Boss Seasons,Dolly Ki Doli with Style Icon Sonam Kapoor and produced by Arbaz Khan, Ek Mein Aur Ekk Tu, and many more hit films, Fashion Stylist Ashley has also launched a new face Trishaan Singh in Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s Sarbjit.
Ashley Rebello was at INIFD DECCAN to teach the art of Fashion Design to the budding designers of Inter National Institute of Fashion Design and gave his creative inputs for their Design portfolio and Fashion show.
The famous International celebrity, Baywatch Star Pamela Anderson sizzled in the beautifully designed traditional attire by Ashley Rebello for her special entry in ‘Big Boss – Season 4’. Star Designer Ashley said, “I have been visiting INIFD centres across India despite of my busy schedule and as a Mentor to these students and teaching them ‘Art of Designing’ to them. I am impressed with the immense talent in the design studentsâ€.
Ashley Rebello briefed the students about design industry, how to start their own venture, the intricacies of designing for Bollywood & Hollywood stars and also secret of his success. In this specialized workshop students were taken through the different stages of the Fashion Design process – draping & practical detailing. Ashley spoke on the fashion trends of today globally. He also give inputs on design industry’s trends in Bollywood, gave information about the materials trends, yarns, colours, fashion trends related to embellishments, accessories, etc.
The Designer Workshop of Ashley Rebello was a great learning experience for the INIFD Deccan students, which provided them with direct hands on experience of being a star designer. The design workshop also created awareness about the stylish and versatile upcoming fashion trends.
