Times and Trends Successfully Conducted the Workshop on ‘Fashion Styling’

Seven-Day Workshop on ‘Fashion Styling’ at Times and Trends Academy Turns To Be A Major Hit Amongst Students. Amit Agrawal, Founder and Chairman, Times and Trends Academy said, “Each of us here wants to be successful. But, I want everyone to know that this is challenging, and we need to gear up for this right from now. And therefore, it is important to understand the business.” Amit Agrawal says that Fashion Styling is emerging to be one of the hot areas in the fashion industry. He added, “Fashion Styling is also gathering importance more than ever. Earlier, it was mixed with fashion design. But, today Fashion Styling is a huge arena in itself and comprises of many elements in it.  And to be a Fashion Stylist, one needs to undertake a proper technical course.”

Students attended the seven-day workshop in a large number. Aishwarya Jaswani, a fashion styling student, asked about the job responsibilities of a fashion stylist. To this, Megha (Fashion Faculty) replied, “Fashion Stylist is someone who selects clothing and accessories for various media (published) like Magazines, Newspapers, Fashion Shows, Ad Campaigns, Promotion Events, Concerts, etc. A Fashion Stylist is someone who would communicate fashion to stakeholders.”

Most of the fashion-styling elements were touched upon by the faculty from Institute. Times and Trends Academy offers a one-year course in Fashion Styling. The course covers various aspects of styling like Fashion Basics, Fashion Communication Skills, Skeleton Theory, Fabrics and Textures, Fashion Trends, etc.

The event concluded with students and faculty on a high enthusiasm. Students, Faculty and Directors from Times and Trends Academy were looking forward to a great academic year that had an amazing head-start.
