Mahindra First Choice Services (MFCS), India’s leading chain of multi-brand car service workshops, and a fully owned subsidiary of the USD 17.8 billion Mahindra Group, continued with its expansion strategy in Eastern India,with the inauguration ofits first Franchisee Owned Franchisee Operated (FOFO) workshop in Kolkata inWest Bengal.
Mahindra First Choice Serviceswill inaugurate three more workshops in West Bengal over the next month, in Jalpaiguri, Kankinaraand Berhampore. The company plans to set up 20such workshops in West Bengal by March 2017. The company’s pan-India network currently stands at more than 130 workshops.

Mahindra First Choice Services, established in 2008, pioneered the concept of multi-brand car service workshops and has been setting benchmarks in pro-customer vehicle servicing practices. The company has serviced more than4,40,000 cars, till date and has over 130 workshops, including 7company-owned facilities. The company aims to expand its network to over 500 workshops by 2018 and is investing more than INR 250 crores, over five years, to create the infrastructure, to achieve this goal. The company is also planning to increase its all-India cluster warehouse network from the present 22 to 43, in order to ensure a steady supply of spare parts to its workshops.
