We hear the very charming television actor Hiten Tejwani will be seen sharing a passionate on-screen kiss with his female counterpart, Turkish supermodel Suha Gezen in the much awaited political drama Shorgul. Hiten will essay a Muslim for the first time and will be seen reminiscing his theatre days as Shorgul brings out the stage actor in him.
Sources close to the production house state, “Hiten was very professional and since the scene demanded intimacy at some level he was okay with the idea. Although we have got a censor clearance, we are still contemplating on whether we should omit the scene from the final cut since Hiten caters to the family audience and after almost 4 months of convincing did he okay the proposal.â€
Rumours are also abuzz that Suha got selected for the role upon Jimmy Shergill’s recommendation. We are just wondering if Jimmy should have been the one turning serial kisser in this case!
A 24 FPS Films Production, the political drama film is based on intolerance and aspires to make audiences contemplate on where humanity stands amidst the noise of religious, social, political and economic prejudice.
