Shilpa Shirodkar, who portrays matriarch Janki Tiwari in STAR Plus’ Silsila Pyaar Ka has been devoting her free time to practice sessions at the dance studio. She will be giving her debut performance at the STAR Parivaar Awards 2016 and is leaving no stone unturned.
Shilpa aka Janki plays the role of a strict mother on the show and her fans will be able to see a different side of her through her stage performance. She says, “I am very excited to perform at the STAR stage since this is my first performance. I will get a chance to showcase my true personality because I love to dance and I want my fans to enjoy my performance. I always wanted to do a fun dance sequence and that is what I told my choreographer. She knows I’m busy most of the time on the sets but I give all my free time to learn and practice the dance steps.â€
Silsila Pyaar Ka is at a crucial junction in the storyline and this is keeping Shilpa very busy. According to sources she has asked her choreographer to visit her on set so she can work on her dance moves between takes. “Shilpa has a hectic schedule and spends most of her time on the set. She really wants to give a spectacular performance so her choreographer is in her vanity van most of the times. Shilpa runs to her van between takes and even if she has 5 minutes free, you can hear the dance song being played in her van.â€
