The 20th Anniversary Official “A Game Of Thrones†Quiz with Typhoo Tea
To mark the 20th Anniversary of A Game Of Thrones,HarperCollins Publishers organized A Game Of Thrones Quiz on 16th December 2016 at Sri Sathya Sai Auditorium, PragatiVihar, New Delhi. Typhoo- the iconic British tea brand known for its specialty teas was the official beverage partner for the quiz.
Over the last two decades, the first five volumes (spread across 7 books) in the seven volume series have created publishing history. The quiz served to celebrate A Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire community, encouraging fans to share their in-depth knowledge on the series.
The Quiz was open to ages 16 and above. It comprised a written round of 25 questions followed by an on-stage finale. It was hosted by well-known author and quizmaster Kunal Savarkar. The contestants and members from the audience received an array of exciting prizes including books from HarperCollin and exciting hampers from Typhoo Tea. Attendees also enjoyed the refreshing Tea breaks at Typhoo tea bar, which served various mocktails and hot teas during the event.
Satyam Ambast and Soumik Pathak who comprised Team Martell edged two points past Nitij Rao and Shreyas Garg of Team Tyrell to lift the First Prize, which was a handsome package of Kindle Voyage, a complete box set of A Game Of Thrones with Westeros Map from HarperCollins, a Special Typhoo Winner Hamper.
