Unacademy, India’s largest learning platform, today announced its collaboration with MPSC Students Rights Group in an effort to help aspirants in Pune amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. As part of the initiative, Unacademy will be providing free meals to aspirants staying in the city, away from their homes and have been facing challenges in sourcing material to cook food.
From April 11th onwards, Unacademy aims to reach out to at least 400 students each day and help over 1,600 students who have been preparing for the MPSC exam and have had to face hindrance in their learning process.
Commenting on this initiative, Ankita Tandon, Vice President – Business at Unacademy said, “Our aim at Unacademy is to ensure that learning never stops. While we have enabled a seamless learning experience for the learners on our platform, we also want to address the external factors that are acting as deterrent for students amidst this pandemic. Our collaboration with the MPSC Students Rights Group is to ensure that the students staying away from their families are provided with free meals. This will not only help them with proper nutrition but also ensure a healthy mind for them to be receptive to learning.”
Unacademy had recently announced to conduct over 20,000 free Live classes for students and also opened its platform for other educational institutions, to ensure uninterrupted education for all learners and aspirants.
