Ties up with Sustainable Green Initiative to plant trees
This Mother’s Day, Nando’s India, the South Africa based international chain of casual dining restaurants draws attention to a larger cause, and urges people to shoulder the responsibility of sharing our planet wisely and preserving nature.
Nando’s has tied up with Sustainable Green Initiative, an organization that plants fruit trees and also nurtures and cares for these trees during their growth period. The first 200 participants will get a chance to gift their mother a tree in her name.
Drawing attention to a very important message via this unique initiativeNando’s will ensure thatamother’s hand band will be tied to the sapling and a replica of that band will be shared with each participant with their mother’s name inscribed.Nando’s will also send a frame with a picture of the sapling to the lucky Mothers with the band.
“With this initiative we hope not only to make mom’s feel special, but to also help raise the public’s environmental awareness, and together take the responsibility of to protect Mother Earthâ€, said Sumeet Yadav, CEO Nando’s India, “We are delighted to join hands with Sustainable Green Initiative and would request all to come forward and plant a tree to honor and celebrate our mom’s in a very special way.â€
