The stage is set for Indian audiences to experience the spectacular\u00a0Broadway-style musical, Disney\u2019s Aladdin. BookMyShow is the producer with exclusive rights for the\u00a0Indian production of this Disney smash hit and will\u00a0bring to life\u00a0the magic of this fable for the first\u00a0time on the Indian stage. The spectacular musical will premiere at Mumbai\u2019s National Centre for the\u00a0Performing Arts (NCPA) in April 2018.<\/p>\n

In 2015 &amp; 2016, Indian audiences were mesmerized with India\u2019s first-ever Broadway-style musical,\u00a0Disney\u2019s Beauty and the Beast. With astounding local talent, stunning sets and breathtaking\u00a0performances, the musical had\u00a0registered sold out\u00a0shows in both its seasons.<\/p>\n

\"Disney'sDisney\u2019s Aladdin, the classic fantasy production, has already enchanted audiences in the United\u00a0States, United Kingdom, Australia and Japan. And now, the incredible spectacle will be reimagined\u00a0and developed by the best of Indian talent to make it locally relevant, without losing the original\u00a0essence of the Broadway show. This time, India will locally produce a\u00a0completely original, non-replica version\u00a0of Aladdin The musical which promises to set new standards for live entertainment in\u00a0our country! The show, sponsored by PayPal,\u00a0will also travel to Delhi and Hyderabad. Originally produced by Disney Theatrical Productions, the show features music by Tony Award and\u00a0eight time Oscar\u00ae winner Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, Newsies, Sister Act, Little Shop of\u00a0Horrors), lyrics by two-time Oscar winner Howard Ashman (Beauty and the Beast, The Little\u00a0Mermaid) and three-time Tony Award and three-time Oscar winner Tim Rice (Evita, Aida).<\/p>\n

At the helm of the Indian production are Shruti Sharma (Director), Shampa Gopikrishna and Bertwin\u00a0D\u2019Souza (Choreographers), Varsha Jain (Production Designer), Gaviin Miguel (Costume Designer),\u00a0Dhruv Ghanekar (Music Director) and Suzane D\u2019Mello (Vocal Coach)<\/p>\n

The talented actors who will\u00a0bring to life\u00a0this iconic tale on stage include Siddharth Menon (Aladdin),\u00a0Taaruk Raina (Aladdin), Kira Narayanan (Jasmine), Mantra (Genie), Roshan Abbas (Jafar) and Vikrant\u00a0Chaturvedi (Jafar).<\/p>\n
