The project is to be commissioned in 36 months.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8624\" src=\"https:\/\/yourchennai.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/Reliance-Infrastructure-Thermal-Power-Project.jpg\" alt=\"Reliance-Infrastructure-Thermal-Power-Project\" width=\"526\" height=\"413\" srcset=\"https:\/\/yourchennai.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/Reliance-Infrastructure-Thermal-Power-Project.jpg 526w, https:\/\/yourchennai.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/Reliance-Infrastructure-Thermal-Power-Project-300x236.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 526px) 100vw, 526px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">EPC division of the infrastructure major has won the contract in International Competitive\u00a0Bidding amidst competition from leading EPC players like BHEL, L&amp;T, Tata Projects and BGR.\u00a0With this contract, Reliance Infrastructure Limited\u2019s EPC order book now stands at over Rs. 15,000\u00a0crore.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With a clear focus to position itself in India\u2019s growing infrastructure sector, and a multitude of\u00a0projects in the offing in areas as diverse as power, metro rails, nuclear power plants, air quality\u00a0control, marine, railways, ports, and mega infrastructure projects, Reliance Infrastructure Limited\u00a0is targeting EPC opportunities worth Rs. 2 lakh crore and increase the EPC order book to Rs.\u00a050,000 crore by FY19.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Speaking on the occasion, Arun Gupta, CEO, Reliance Infrastructure Limited EPC, said, \u201cThis is\u00a0a prestigious project for us and will add to our existing credentials of executing large,\u00a0complex projects in record time and at competitive cost. We will leverage our experience\u00a0of execution of different types of power projects, from supercritical coal fired to\u00a0advanced class gas turbine to renewable energy, in execution of this project and add\u00a0TANGEDCO to our list of illustrious clients.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In recent past, Reliance Infrastructure Limited has secured multiple EPC orders in power sector\u00a0including 2 x 250 MW lignite-based CFBC Thermal Power Project from NLC India Limited, Flue\u00a0Gas Desulphurization works of 3 x 500 MW power plant from NTPC Limited and 750 MW\u00a0Combined Cycle Power Plant along with a 500 MMSCFD Floating Storage Re-gasification Unit\u00a0based integrated LNG terminal project in Bangladesh.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition to power sector projects, Reliance Infrastructure Limited has won three road projects\u00a0from NHAI, totaling 207 km.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Reliance Infrastructure Limited EPC division has earlier executed large projects worth Rs.\u00a033,000 crore (US$ 5 billion) including the 3,960 MW Ultra Mega Power Project at Sasan,\u00a0Madhya Pradesh.
