\"Uma As a\u00c2\u00a0major achievement for India and for FIITJEE, Uma T.V.Iyer, a student of FIITJEE\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Long term Classroom program, has bagged<\/strong> a Bronze Medal<\/strong> at theEuropean Girls\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 Mathematical Olympiad <\/strong>(EGMO) <\/strong>2016, held at Busteni, Romania.<\/p>\n

The European Girls\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 Mathematical Olympiad is an International Mathematics<\/strong> competition similar in style to the International Mathematical Olympiad, with two papers taken on consecutive days. Participating countries send teams consisting of four female mathematicians of school age.The European Girls\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 Mathematical Olympiad <\/strong>was held from 10th<\/sup> to 16th<\/sup> April, 2016 in\u00c2\u00a0Busteni, Romania<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Uma T.V. Iyer <\/strong>is a Four-Year Classroom Program student of FIITJEE Coimbatore Centre<\/strong> and currently a student of class XII. She is also a Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) scholar, 2015 and has qualified in the <\/strong>National Talent Search Standard Examination (NTSE), Stage I.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Haimoshri Das, who <\/strong>belongs to FIITJEE Kolkata Centre, also represented India at EGMO\u00c2\u00a02016.\u00c2\u00a0FIITJEE is very happy that both students participating at this prestigious Olympiad at an International level, are from their institute and have contributed in bringing laurels to our country.<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u20ac\u0153It is a proud moment for us. The excitement level cannot be imagined. Uma winning the Bronze Medal at such a prestigious international competition has not only proven her potential, but has also given us the acclamation that we constantly strive for in pursuit of excellence.
