Wigzo was selected as a winner, along with 5 other Indian start-ups, from the 285 applications receivedfrom across India.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Great Tech Rocketships Initiative 2016 (GTRS) is a part of the India-UK Tech Bridge that aims at connecting India\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s high potential technology companies to the local business and entrepreneurship ecosystem in the UK. This ambitious initiative was launched in 2014 and this year applications opened on <span data-term=\"goog_540531780\">January 14<\/span>, with a call for submissions from the most impressive emerging tech companies in India.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On winning the award and before going for the week long trip, <strong>Umair Mohammed, CEO, Wigzo<\/strong> said, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153We are immensely happy on winning the Great Tech Rocketships Award. It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s an honor to have been recognized for the product that we have created, and I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m thankful to UKTI India and iSPIRT for giving us this opportunity.
