\"DLFDLF Place, Saket-city\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s most preferred lifestyle destination situated in the heart of Delhi, celebrated World Environment Day on 5th<\/sup>\u00c2\u00a0June by organizing special kid\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s activities themed around the occasion. Coincided with its ongoing train-themed kids summer camp-\u00c2\u00a0\u00e2\u20ac\u02dcPlace on Wheels\u00e2\u20ac\u2122<\/strong>, scheduled from May 21st<\/sup>\u00c2\u00a0till June 10th,\u00c2\u00a0<\/sup>2016; the mall took this initiative to sensitize the kids on the need of saving Mother Earth and educate them about the importance of recycling, cleanliness, environment, inculcating in them the eco-friendly ways of living at an early age. Last Sunday, the mall conducted exclusive activities at Place on Wheels which included special craft session on how to re-use waste material, where kids used their imagination to create something extraordinary from the waste. The activities included art, craft, storytelling and quizzes on the theme of saving Earth and conserving our planet were developed in association with Reading Club for Children and Color Maths.\u00c2\u00a0 Kids loved creating environment-themed greeting cards, some color filled poster making sessions on the theme – Saving the Earth and a story on environment-\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Cecelia, the angry fish\u00e2\u20ac\u009d via a hand crafted book. They also enjoyed the playful craft session where they made a \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcTree\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 collage out of waste\/used colorful bits of paper and learnt lessons on how to keep our planet clean through various exciting activities at the mall. The participating kids were handed fun \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcPlace on Wheels\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 giveaways.<\/p>\n

To make the day more special, DLF Place Saket also engaged with kids from NGO – Save the Children, who boarded a train ride and enjoyed fun activities that were designed exclusively for them on the theme of conserving environment, cleanliness and reuse and recycling of waste material besides storytelling session.\u00c2\u00a0 Children enjoyed their time on \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcPlace of Wheels\u00e2\u20ac\u2122. Besides fun, kids also savored the refreshments served to them by the Smoke House Deli Caf\u00c3\u00a9 and took away \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcPlace on Wheels\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 goodie bags as a parting gift from the mall.<\/p>\n

DLF Place, Saket organized a great day for kids and catered a platform where the young generation learned and understood the importance of saving the Mother Nature by contributing their part.
