India\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s leading fashion & lifestyle\u00c2\u00a0etailer,\u00c2\u00a0Myntra\u00c2\u00a0has appointed\u00c2\u00a0Manpreet\u00c2\u00a0Ratia\u00c2\u00a0as\u00c2\u00a0its\u00c2\u00a0Chief People Officer and Head of\u00c2\u00a0New Initiatives<\/b>.\u00c2\u00a0In his new role, he will be driving key HR functions with a focus on talent acquisition and retention for various levels and verticals. He will also drive new business initiatives which will help strengthen and grow Myntra\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s leadership position in the online fashion industry.<\/span><\/p>\n

An alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur,\u00c2\u00a0Manpreet\u00c2\u00a0has over 20 years\u00c2\u00a0of\u00c2\u00a0leadership\u00c2\u00a0experience from domains such as Financial Services and E-Commerce in India, United Sates and As<\/a>ia – with a track record of building businesses,\u00c2\u00a0turnarounds and\u00c2\u00a0creating value and unique experiences for customers. He is\u00c2\u00a0also known for his\u00c2\u00a0collaborative\u00c2\u00a0leadership style and a penchant for new technologies in order to create\u00c2\u00a0differentiation.\u00c2\u00a0Manpreet joins Myntra from Amazon (India) where he was Director\u00c2\u00a0& Head of Last Mile Operations and where he successfully leveraged technology, new business and delivery models to ensure best in class delivery experience for customers and optimum cost models for Amazon.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prior to Amazon, Manpreet spent over 7 years with Citibank where he was Managing Director and Asia COO for Citi Treasury and Trade business based in Hong Kong. Prior to Citi,\u00c2\u00a0Manpreet\u00c2\u00a0spent over 8 years with GE where he carried out a variety of leadership roles in India, US and Asia, in Human Resources, Six Sigma and Business Development.\u00c2\u00a0Manpreet\u00c2\u00a0has also worked with Nestle India,\u00c2\u00a0Oberoi\u00c2\u00a0Hotels among others, earlier in his career.<\/span><\/p>\n

Manpreet\u00c2\u00a0is an MBA in\u00c2\u00a0HR\u00c2\u00a0from XLRI, Jamshedpur and graduated from GE\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s John F Welch Center of Advanced Management Education at\u00c2\u00a0Crottonville, New York. He has a certification in International Cash Management from the Association of Corporate Treasures in the UK and\u00c2\u00a0holds a Bachelor\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s degree in Commerce from St. Xavier\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s College,\u00c2\u00a0Kolkata.<\/span><\/p>\n

Myntra has also been attracting great talent in other functions as well. Myntra has brought onboard Sharath Bulusu as VP- Product <\/b>for strengthening its product team. Sharath joins in from Housetrip.com in UK where he was Chief Product Officer. He has also worked with Google & Twitter among other companies.
