Bigo Live, a global leading live streaming platform, has raised a total of<\/span> US$100,000<\/span> in donations through its inaugural \u2018Global BIGOer One World Together<\/b>\u2019 campaign. All proceeds raised will be donated to the World Health Organisation (WHO)\u2019s<\/span> Solidarity Response Fund<\/a><\/span> by BIGO Technology, the parent company of Bigo Live.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018<\/span>Global BIGOer One World Together<\/span>\u2019 saw more than<\/span> 3.7 Million<\/span> viewers across the globe tuning into Bigo Live\u2019s music livehouse and participate in the fundraising.The livehouse featured performances by<\/span> close to<\/span> 100<\/span> broadcasters in over 20 countries.<\/span><\/p>\n

A global cast of talented singers and musicians from countries across Australia, Asia, including Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia, Europe and the United States performed over a 24-hour music livehouse<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The six top broadcasters from India included celebrity B<\/span>igo Live<\/span> host & former Indian Ido<\/span>l contestant – Amit Tandon <\/span>(Bigo Live ID: AmitTandon)<\/span> who got the second highest votes globally with a total vote count <\/span>in lakhs<\/span>, Ada Kyra <\/span>(Bigo Live ID : 384275320), <\/span>Akansha <\/span>(Bigo Live ID: 308219658)<\/span>, Aariyah (Bigo Live ID:\u00a0star4sure), Sameer <\/span>(Bigo Live ID:\u00a0itz_sameer11)<\/span>, and Dimple <\/span>(Bigo Live ID: queendimple)<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Besides the live musical performances, the event also featured a #UnitedatBIGO, where\u00a0tributes were paid to healthcare professionals and frontline workers who have led the fight against COVID-19. A specially commissioned music video with over 100 Bigo Live broadcasters performing a cover of the Michael Jackson hit \u201cWe are the world\u201d<\/a> was also released as part of the campaign.
