Dr. Uma Ram spoke about<\/strong>\u00a0<em>\u201cNew and Advanced ways of diagnosis and treatment for Infertility.\u201d<\/em><u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dr. Uma Ram engaged the attendees by giving them an insight on how infertility is not gender specific and both partners can be equally responsible for the inability to conceive a child. The program also highlighted how infertility is a major issue among couples within the country, causing both mental and emotional distress. Infertility is not addressed much and is often paired with a social stigma and there is a need to create awareness among the people. Infertility can also be tackled by making certain lifestyle changes like exercising, reducing alcohol consumption, quitting smoking and maintaining a healthy diet.
