Barbeque Nation has been recognised as one of the best employers in India and has won a leading rank in “Great Place to Work, 2016â€survey and awards. Since 2006, Barbeque Nation, one of the leading casual dining chains in India has garnered fans and continually retained its loyal customers. Within a decade, the brand has been recognized as one of the best employers in the Food & Beverages sector.
This year, the ranking has been awarded on the parameters of confidential employee feedback from 800 organisations across industries, by Great Place to Work® Institute, India. The surveyed organisations were studied under two dimensions. All the participating companies are evaluated primarily on the basis of their employee’s responses to the survey which is given 2/3rd weight. The remaining 1/3rd of the score is derived from Culture Audit a questionnaire seeking to understand the people practices, philosophy and values of an organisation.
First, being a unique employee-centric framework that measures the levels of trust, pride and camaraderie established at work. Second, through a questionnaire seeking to understand the people practices, philosophy and values of an organisation.

The goal is simple – giving our customers a great experience without compromising our employee’s work satisfaction. At any restaurant, a happy team will provide better customer service and a better, more personalised dining experience. As a team, we take pride in this award and will continue our efforts towards enriching the work culture at Barbeque Nation.â€
What was liked about Barbeque Nation: “The Employees of this restaurant chain uphold the principle of NO TIPS, which has a great impact on operational culture. The company has strived to foster a respectful and collaborative work environment, where colleagues are like family and seniors are akin to family eldersâ€.
